The latest entrant in Pune's ever evolving gourmet scene, 11 East Street Café, a foodie's delight and definitely worth several visits, is a visual delight as you enter. Modeled on London Street, there are high end dummy stores, colorful brands and typical British furniture making this restaurant unique in every possible way. This eatery is spread over a huge area and a Double Decker bus welcomes you to an in house bakery, there is a multi cuisine restaurant and a lounge bar. A live kitchen along with great interiors sets the mood for a great meal. The food is served in style for example if you order a kabab; you are served on a flaming sword. Try the fish and chips, spinach wraps, Bacardi chicken, mushrooms in barbecue sauce, asparagus and corn risotto and goan fish curry with steamed rice. The restaurant serves food from all over the globe, such as Lebanese, Spanish, British, European, Oriental and of course our very own Indian. Desserts are served inside the bus and most of them are too good to resist for example the Cup a Misu-a Genoise cake layered with mascarpone mousse and finished with delicious chocolate or the Bailey's and Vanilla Mist. The beverage menu has several interesting sounding cocktails and mocktails as well.
